when consuming cannabis was considered illegal and often led to serious
consequences. Today, cannabis consumption is legal in more than 30 states of
the United States where you can legally buy and consume it to treat any serious
medical condition. You now have access to a variety of cannabis products
including pain soothing salves, water soluble powders, high-CBD vape pens, and

growing and most dynamic industries in the US. Since cannabis industry is
growing significantly, new cannabis changes and trends are witnessed every now
and then.
Here
are some of the latest cannabis trends you should look out for.

everything
Initially, the
cannabis industry revolved around concentrates and flower such as wax and
shatter, which required to be transferred to vessels and either vaped or
smoked. These methods of consumptions are apparently effective but weren’t as
convenient as it should have been.
Thus, disposable
cartridge vapes were introduced which simplified the method of cannabis
consumption and involved pressing a button and inhaling. These disposable
cartridge vapes made consuming cannabis quite convenient and also increased the
demand for similar products.
Many studies have
shown that more than half of the cannabis users prefer convenience when it comes
to consuming cannabis. However, it’s not only the method of consumption that’s
important but also the convenience of buying. Therefore, just like any other
product, cannabis home delivery is also on the rise.
2. New packaging
designs with Leafy logos
The pointy cannabis
leaf has instantly become a recognizable symbol for identify a cannabis
product. While most of the brands continue to utilize this symbol on their
packaging designs, they are making few tweaks in the original icon. These
brands are using this icon with a modern twist, changing its original color,
mixing it with various other elements to stand out in the crowd while still
keeping its authenticity.
3. Affordability is
arriving slowly
Since cannabis is
legal and easily accessible in the market, it is slowly becoming affordable as
well. In Oregon, Arizona, California, and Colorado, price tags on cannabis have
decreased, in some cities significantly. In these states, prices of the
concentrate are decreasing too, even though this change has yet to be seen in
California.
Wondering why?
Just like in any
other industry, as the competition increases, prices tend to decline.
4. Consistency,
effects and microdosing options are increasing
For many cannabis
users, the days of consuming this miracle herb through a brownie infused with
10 mg of THC and waiting for the effects to kick in are over. Today, people
want consistent results and reliable doses. They are seeking products that has
lower THC content which allows them to craft custom experiences. For instance,
rather than consuming half a brownie in an attempt to consume 5 mg of THC,
cannabis consumers prefer eating a pair of accurately dosed 2.5 mg cookies.

organization create, market and distribute cannabis beverages. And Diageo which
is the parent company of brands such as Bailey’s Irish and Ketel One vodka says
it also wishes to join the trend of cannabis beverage by investing in it.

beverages have a bright future where cannabis-infused products like coffee, tea
bags and kombucha are already available in the market. A research shows that

last year’s sales which was more than $30 million.
